Orchard View is a pretty, two bedroom, accessible holiday cottage, which can comfortably sleep up to four guests. The pet friendly holiday home in North Devon has been tastefully decorated throughout and features two double bedrooms, both with en-suite bathrooms, a large living area with wood burning stove and a private garden perfect for alfresco dinners on warm summer evenings.
On arrival at Orchard View guests enter into the large open plan living area, which is lovely and light with plenty of windows for admiring the view. The well-equipped kitchen has been finished to a high standard and has been fitted with a good range of appliances, including an electric oven, a separate electric hob, a microwave, a dishwasher and a fridge/freezer.
Please note that although the cottage itself does not have any laundry facilities, guests are welcome to use the washing machine and tumble dryer in the main house on request.
The comfy living room has two double sofas that are ideal for relaxing and watching the wall mounted TV. A highlight for the cottage is the wood burning stove, which is perfect for those chilly winter evenings.
Situated alongside the lounge area is the dining table, which can comfortably seat up to four guests.
The downstairs bedroom at Orchard View is fully accessible with plenty of space around the bed for a wheelchair. The bedroom has a comfy king size double bed, a handy arm chair and storage facilities. The room features a very large window which doubles as a fire exit.
The downstairs bedroom benefits from its own accessible bathroom, which is fitted with a walk-in shower that has both a rainfall shower head and detachable shower head. The bathroom also has a WC and a wash basin. Throughout the bathroom there are plenty of features to ensure it is accessible including handrails, a shower seat and an emergency pull cord.
Stairs from the open plan living area lead to the first floor mezzanine. Off the mezzanine is the first floor bedroom, which has a king size double bed, a handy chair and a storage chest. The window doubles as a fire exit.
The upstairs bedroom benefits from its own en-suite bathroom, which is fitted with a shower, a wash basin and a WC.
